This campaign ended on August 18, 2026. I ran in the Democratic primary for Florida’s 3rd District and I didn’t win.

Our economy is in the process of deglobalizing. That doesn’t just mean that we build factories back in our country. It means that the decision making is moving back to each and every one of us at the local level. As time goes on, we will begin taking back more and more of our own say in how things work. When you have a lot of things happening and you don’t know why, it can be worrying, even paralyzing. But once you know what’s happening, you can start taking steps for yourself again.
It was through my writing for the Butterfly Economist that I realized that we are in a paradigm shift, that the centralizing that occurred during the industrial age is now beginning to unwind. All the latest technology we have created over the past few decades, from the internet, wireless communications, computers, and clean energy to, more recently, AI, robotics, and 3D printing, is allowing us to decentralize as a society and build most things that we need locally again.
As I studied this process we are undergoing, I realized that I could be the catalyst to help my local district manage this transition and come out on the other side in a much stronger position by running for Congress.
